It’s Timmy’s Senior Year! This month of November amidst our last weddings, engagements, family portraits, etc. of 2019 we also captured some other awesome clients including Timmy for his Senior Portraits-! Timmy and his mom decided on his high school (Marian High School) for some baseball field Senior Photos, the University of Notre Dame for some fall-esque portraits, and our indoor studio for some final formal portraits for his Senior Portrait Session during this his last year of high school-!
Timmy plays baseball for Marian High School, so he wanted to do a more casual look in some of his baseball attire around the field and dugout. Marian is also where Jenny’s mom, 4 of her aunt & uncles, and 6 of her cousins attended high school (and was the rival of Jenny’s high school St. Joe), so it’s been a place of many attended sporting events throughout our lives. We’ve even caught a baseball game of Timmy’s team!
Timmy and his family are originally from Georgia having moved to the area not too long ago, though they’ve been to South Bend/ Notre Dame for football games as far back as when Timmy was a child! His mom was along for the Senior Portrait Session, so she even showed us the exact tree that she photographed her sons in on campus and we had to capture some photos of Timmy up there for old time’s sake! We also made sure to photograph him in front of the famous Golden Dome and within some of the architecture there.
Some of our favorite portraits of the day were in our studio here in South Bend with a dark navy blue backdrop representing Marian High School. We love the classic studio portraits and headshots we were able to capture there right before heading up to Michigan for more Engagement Session portraits of one of our wedding couples.
Timmy is actually dating one of Jenny’s (15) cousins’ daughters, so we’ve gotten to know him throughout the year through family get-togethers and more! He’s a humble, wise teen with a lot of cool vintage style to boot! Timmy hopes to attend a college here in South Bend after his next semester (final semester) of high school, so we can’t wait to see what he studies in college and contributes to society with his future jobs & career-!
Congratulations Timmy on being only a month away from your final semester of high school-!! We loved getting to capture your Senior Portraits to celebrate this exciting time of your life, so thank you so much to you and your mom Jennifer for coming around with us this month for your Senior Portrait Session that you entrusted us with-! We’re so glad that we were able to photograph these memories for you to look back on later in life and cannot wait to see what photos you choose for your printed images-!!
_______Unrelated: Happy Thanksgiving about 4 hours early-! We will be spending tomorrow’s Thanksgiving festivities with about 30 of Jenny’s relatives at her aunt’s house and will not be working or in the office on Thanksgiving. We’re very excited to have finished up a good amount of wedding album & wedding invitation designs for folks as well as large print and canvas orders that we delivered this week and cannot wait to tackle more wedding photo printing next week in just a few days-! We will only have ONE month to finish up all of our clients’ literally thousands of printed wedding photos (while also capturing some more pre-scheduled huge Christmas Portrait Sessions), so we’re excited to tackle the last of it before heading out across the country in January for a belated Christmas celebration with both of our immediate families for our annual visit-! Our newest pet puppy Rizzo has been with us for almost 3 weeks now, so she’s adjusting well to our big dog Coco and elderly cat Kevin. We have their Thanksgiving meal soft meals all ready for them for tomorrow, so we’re excited to spend the first half of the day with these three and our little family! Enjoy the holiday weekend, all!
