MERRY CHRISTMAS TODAY!!
At the start of last week we had our 2nd tiny snow sprinkle of December, so we literally rushed out in the morning to create our Annual Bathing Suit Bottom Christmas Portrait and painstakingly brought out each animal one after the other to capture them in the scene with us. It was a fiasco of stress, but we did it (AND designed, printed out, packaged, and send out about 55 Christmas cards which should have gotten to everyone on time)! Without further adieu, our 6th Annual Goofy Christmas Photo (2019):

In addition to this, we also THE SAME DAY finished up printing about 630 more client photos, then drove 3 hours round-trip up from Indiana to Kalamazoo, Michigan to get a decent photo with Santa and our pets-!! Here’s the outcome of that:

We’ve fortunately or unfortunately worked every single day of December (and most of November, October, September, August, etc). this year, so we’ve reached a pretty intense burn out this week. We ARE however very happy to be at our home today with our little family including our 3 pets and ourselves. We wish our families could be here from out West, but that’s something we’re hoping to work on in the coming years. Since we have literally been working every single day, we WILL be taking our annual belated Christmas trip for 2 weeks in January out West to see our immediate families with a LOT of travel included.
We hope that this holiday that you do not take for granted those who go to great lengths to see you, find you the perfect gifts, or host you for the holidays. Not everyone is opened to hosting loved ones or even tries to do this (especially on a limited budget), so you should do your best to welcome loved ones with opened arms! (i.e. The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you) and appreciate those who always have a warm place for you.
One week from today we chime in the New Year of 2020, so this is our LAST blog post of 2020! This final work week of 2019 we’ll be photographing a last Session for clients at The Armory, finishing up printing a final 400 photos, printing another wedding album, designing one LAST 2019 wedding album, and sending out 6 final wedding packages to our 2019 couples once they finish up their choices over the week so that we can print these last items-! We’re so excited for everyone to receive their 2019 wedding items and we’re excited to tackle 2020 wedding consultations, our already booked 2020 weddings, and everyone else before and after our little 2 week hiatus belated Christmas across the country!
