Professional Corporate Portraiture for Chicago-based (and other Midwest-Based) Businesses-!

Ciao & Benvenuto/ Happy Weekly Wednesday-! This week we’ve decided to (here on the blog) share Professional Corporate/ Career Portraiture that we were hired to make for a local tech and data analysis company.

For this week’s Spring Corporate Session that we’re sharing with you we were hired to photograph the Board of Advisors with our Professional Studio. Their Board of Advisors we learned hadn’t been all together at the same time often due to a couple years of the Pandemic and some folks working remotely (some living/ working out-of-state due to their roles within several corporations). Many modern corporations have moved to Board of Directors (and other higher up positions within the corporations) working with each other over Zoom or On Location. Because of so many of our clients moving over to this career/ job format, this wasn’t necessarily a new scenario for us, but has definitely become increasingly common over the past few years. Many (soon to be most) of our wedding clients who may indeed live in the Midwest or elsewhere now most often work online for Corporations out-of-state and across the world while checking in with their co-workers via ZOOM. With everything having moved the way of ZOOM we knew that we needed to make this rare in-person gathering worthwhile for our client’s corporate website needs.

Coordinating a group of people to all report to the same place on the same day is difficult, so they did need to split up the Professional Corporate Career Portraiture between two back-to-back days, but we were able to accommodate all of the Board of Advisors amidst our busy Spring schedule (*shout out to the media relations manager). On the two days of creating the Corporate Portraiture we enjoyed using our 13.5 years’ worth of Professional Portraiture services to help make everyone feel at ease so that we could capture a few different looks for each participant (before they headed off to their Board Meeting). Because it was a 2 Day job, we always make sure that for Day 2 we keep our same studio light powers and distances, professional camera settings. and flags in the same places so that the imagery is completely consistent across the board (*Board of Advisors, that is).

Because we were pre-warned and asked if we could accommodate their deadline upon booking, we were able to do something that we don’t normally allow: going above-and-beyond by editing onsite and delivering the 10 finished Corporate Portraits for their website the same day (Day 2 of Portraiture).

Enjoy these 10 final Corporate Career Portraits that we delivered to the Corporation ((as well as a couple shots of the wider setup)). Great Corporate Portraiture may seem easy (or an AI click away), but truly nothing can replace our 13.5 years (27 years combined) experience in Professional Portraiture OR our 5 earned academic degrees which afford us the ability to work in any environment confidently. With so many Corporations selling off their physical offices throughout Chicago, Los Angeles, NYC, and more, we foresee more of this type of work in the future (though we’ve been capturing Corporate Portraiture for our well-paying clientele for decades now.

Behind the Scenes (BTS)

**We figured we’d also throw in some of the BTS (Behind the Scenes) action so that you can see a bit of the scene. (This isn’t a tutorial for those without degrees in this or for those not in the Industry, rather is here to show you just a tiny sliver of the hard work that goes in to (and has always gone into) our work- hence the name “work.”). You can’t see all of our massive lights that we have set up in the wider image, but it does give you an idea of how we prefer to do OG Professional Portraiture in a Studio setting with our studio equipment which obviously has some differences as compared to how we set up all of our lights, reflectors, flags, props, etc for Outdoor On Location Portraiture with clientele.

We hope that you all enjoyed this Corporate Portraiture and we’ll catch you next Weekly Wednesday with some Southern California Family Portraiture-! We hope that you have been having an ok Spring 2023 and that you’re prepping for a good Summer (full of love, family, your closest loved ones, or whatever brings you joy).
